Add a cam at the same time!
I added a MTI R1 cam to a set of mildly cleaned up 243 heads (& LT's) and pulled 420 RWHP.
The heads are an improvement over the 241/853 heads. Since you already have the topend off, pull the steering rack and do the cam.
It will make you smile!!!

Heads with no cam are not worth the cost. motor is like a air pump a big restriction is the cam. (this would be first thing I would fix most HP bang for the buck), then heads, then air intake then exaust in this order. cam lets in air longer and opens valves higer.
