noisey speakers???

noisey speakers???
has anyone had the bose unit speakers start rattling? if so, what route did you take to solve the problem? are there any cheaper replacement speakers instead of staying with the bose units? could the unit itself be causing the speakers to make the rattling noise? thanks in advance!!!

Which speaker is rattling?? Base, midrange?? If its the midrange, just up grade to better speakers! If is the base, look for a used one in C5 parts. Im about to rip all my Boese stuff out and replace it with aftermarket!

The subwoffer is 2 ohms!!! The midrange are 8 ohms. They can be replaced with a high quality off the shelf speaker.
