vararam makes the velocity stack. anyone have good experience with it?
Or is it just better to do your own porting?

Porting will provide better throttle response and tip in.

The velocity stack probably helps when you get above 100 mph. Porting helps from the launch.

Actually the velocity stack helps the bottom end. I installed one a couple of years ago and was quite pleased with the results. Its much easier than porting or swaping out for a ported TB. I would think a ported TB would be better than the velocity stack. I have been thinking of purchasing a ported TB to see if there is a difference and selling by velocity stack to someone in my club.

Got it, I have not decided yet but if I do I will let you know first. It works well but I like the idea of a ported TB. I PM you back. Thanks.
