I have decided to go with a Delco battery in my '99. My GM parts guy isn't sure of the part number and since the existing battery is an Interstate, that doesn't help. Does anyone know the current GM battery part number for a 99 / conv / air / 6speed?
I havent tried a battery, but every time i ask about parts they ask for my VIN. apparently they can only find parts with a VIN Remember when they used to look up parts in a book?

This is a 10" battery vs. the 9" but fits fine.
We have a winner. The "H" in the part number just means that it has a handle on it. Other than that is is basically a group 78 series battery with a 6 year warranty.
