should i go with a roller cam?? any down falls of going this route?? help guys.

The standard LS1 cam is a roller cam.

The Ls6 is a roller cam also.

The only roller up-grade that you can really up-grade to that isnt already a roller is "roller tip rockers".

You alredy have roller lifters and needle bearing "roller" fulcrum rockers.

YOu also could be thinking of a "solid" roller cam. This is the modern version of solid lifters.

Have seen the roller bearings fail in BBC Super Modified class engines while working at a shop back in the '80s. Even saw one that had a needle punched into the block by the cam lobe.
