Default Question for those w/ 19 inch wheels?

What size tires are your guys running? I just ordered a set of hyper C6 ZO6 wheels 18x9.5 and 19x10. I'm either looking to run 305/30/19's or 295/30/19's out back with 265/35/18's up front. Will this throw my speedo off or cause any problems?

Those are the sizes that I'm considering. The 305s will give you a closer diameter to stock. However, the 305s maybe a tad wide for 10" wide wheels. I'm thinking even 285/30 for my 19x10.5. Especially since I want the stretched look.

I am running 295/35/19R out back and 275/30/19R up front on CCW wheels. Rides great to me...but, it is my first Vette.

265/35-18 and 305/30-19 tires would keep your F/R size ratio close enough to stock to prevent any confusion to the computers. Tirerack says the minimum recommended rim width for a PS2 305/30 is 10.5", but you should be okay pinching them 1/2" - I got away with it on mine (325/30 on an 11.5" rim) and they don't look unnatural or bowed. Good luck and post pics when you get them mounted!

Went back and forth on this for a while..

Didn't like the (very limited) tire choices in the 305/30/19 size, nor do I want to give up sidewall compliancy..

I finally settled on a 285/35/19 (10.5" wheel). The footprint will be identical to the current 295/35/18, I'll have a decent sidewall, only negative is it puts my rolling diameter back to the stock C5 size, which means I'm giving up 2.8% in gear reduction.

I'll run a 265/35/18 front, a nice footprint improvement over my current 255/40/17.

With the wheels I found (SSR's at the Tire Rack, wow, what a bargin!) and the shorter sidewalls, these wheels and tires are on par weight-wise with the current Z06 sizes. Yes, I do realize I'm going backwards slightly with the rotating weight a bit further out (on the rear wheel anyway, the front is a wash).

All in all I hope the sidewalls will balance the overall look front to rear, similar to the stock Z06 setup (I've never liked 18's on both ends, makes the front wheel look much larger than the rear, where as the 17 - 18 combo looks "balanced", if that makes sense).

Anyone have pics of what 295 or 285's look like on 19's compared to the stock rears?
