Default Intense Cams For My 2004 Corvette

I just currently purchased a 2004 Corvette Hatchback. I wan't to get this done to my car but I need an estimate on how much it's going to cost for parts and labor. If you don't really know, please just give me your assumption for the cost.

What I Want:

comp cam 231/237 .591/.601 112LSA
Stainless work LT headers
corsa sport catback

most shops are between $2-3k installed/tuned; fwiw, be careful in CA on cam selection

A&A Corvette is right down the street from you

I'd say around 3-4k. Mine w/ kooks lt's, x pipe w/ converters, bb catback, pulley, cai, plugs and wires, tune, 238/242 .609 .615 111lsa cam and all supporting hardware was 4.5k.

The estimates you have already received are in the ballpark. A couple of points for clarification though.
  1. Corsa "Sport" is a C6 model (2005 and later). Your Corsa choices for C5 are "Touring" and "Pace Car" (AKA "Indies").
  2. If you have an automatic, budget additional funds for a higher stall torque converter, as your cam selection is too big for a stocker.
Enjoy!

That cam won't pass smog. You're gonna want gears with that one too, plus there's no way it will run even close to normal without a tune.

If you are running converters it won't sound anything like that. As soon as I find a camera, or digital camera w/ a speaker, I will get a clip of mine and post it up for a comparison. I also agree that the cam will probably not pass emissions in Cali. It will here in Tx., but I think our emissions aren't as tight as California's.

Talk to A&A, I think you`ll find that the cam you mentioned probably WON`T pass smog! You may be able to sneek the headers by but I don`t think they can get that cam to pass.
