Hey Rodney!! You've been my ONLY choice to send mine and my customer's broken tranny's to for years now. Not one tranny failure yet and I have some of my clients beating the hell out of their C5s at the track/strip. My own C5 and Dodge Viper are pushing >800hp on a daily basis, not a gliche from the slushbox!! I look forward to doing business with you in the future, as always!!
Hey, how is your new project coming?!?! Have you talked about it here or on any other forum??
Thanks guys for all the kind words. I know it is cold and snowy alot of places around the country but somebody needs to break some parts. I'm not wishing any bad luck on anyone but we could sure use some more work right now. I know this line of work is a little seasonal and in the warm months it is as equally as crazy the other way. I like it when we are backed up at least 10 transmissions and all of the lifts are full but right now thats not the case. Anyone looking to get work done on thier vette we can get you in on Monday. This is not a cry out for work but just stating it might be a good opertunity for someone right now because come mid to late March should be "covered up" Who knows we might even offer a few specials.

Rodney I was wondering if we had a Z06 that wanted a A4 and I wanted the 6 spd swapped to my a4 car , swapping parts how much would the swap coast + new clutch & other parts needed ..... ball park figures are fine . compared to a new level 5 a4 would it be close minus the clutch & other incidentals

Rodney,
Do you have a package that will transform my very notchy transmission into a smoother operating one? Can the work be done while I wait? I am driving through Indiana on I70 later this week so let me know as soon as you can.
Well, I've only been a 'vette owner for a few months, but from Rodney's great reputation on this board I have had a secret wish for my stock A4 to take a dive so I can get one of his. I guess he must be doing something right.
Patience, Grasshopper. You may get what you desire much sooner than you wished!
Congrats on the move. Going to be doing A4 to M6 conversions? If so, email price with A4 parts trade please.
Thanks,
Dave
He did mine and I couldn't be happier with the work, performance and customer service. I had the Z06 transmission put in to replace my A4. Top notch forum vendor and great group of guys at rpm.

Give us a call and we can work up something for you. We could exchange your transmission for one of our prebuilt units is just a few short hours.
Im happy with my trans (over 12k miles so far in the last year and the stock one went after 5k blown miles) and getting my clutch installed there in 2 weeks!

Rodney, w/ my upcoming upgrade to an A4 Level 4 tranny, converter, hardened output shafts, currently at 490 rwhp, do I need to do the DTE brace? Possibly in the future, I might change my blower pulley and try to get to about 550-580 rwhp at the most.
Lastly, what stall Vig converter would u go with? I've been hearing 2800-3200 from others, realizing that the actual stall on a Vig is typically 200 higher than the stated #. I do mainly street driving, but like to hit the track for 1/4 mi runs w/ Drag radials on occasion too.
C'mon, put that tranny down for a minute and answer this one
Alright Alright The DTE diff brace is a good piece of insurance. I can honestly say the the majority of failures that would have been saved by the brace was a maunal transmission car.
I am gonna be there this spring to get one of those killer 4L60E put in..
Can't wait...
I will probably come up with Mr Mity Mike to check things out as well. I have spoke with you guys on the phone and will definatly be making my tranny and rear-end purchase from you !!!
