Default Removing gas tank

can someone tell me how I would go about removing the right side gas tank behind the passenger side? I took out the bolts and shield, but have no idea how I'm suppose to get access to the cross over hose. tips and advice would be great.

i got everything disconnected, but i'm having a difficult time disconnecting the crossover tube. i can't see how it's connected so i'm not sure how to disconnect it. it seems that the only thing holding it in is the crossover tube, am i correct to assume this? any help would be great guys.

CorvetteTechInc: thank you for your post.

If you removed the shield then yes, the only thing now holding the tank in is the cross over tube.

Once the crossover tube is removed there is also a small evap tube above the crossover tube that connects the left and right tank (atleast there is on an FFS fuel system.
