What do you mean you get what you pay for? I think that 95% of the people that buy aftermarket corvette stuff would agree that they got less than they paid for. There is a huge price inflation on corvette parts, so yes, you get what you pay for if you find a good deal like the chinese exhaust, otherwise you're screwed.

I get what I pay for!!!!! I got the ecklers catalog today and they have this SAME EXHAUST (The description is word for word of the one on Ebay, same pics as well) for 600 bucks plus shipping.

So I guess if I buy it from them then it will work better?! Yeah OK!

I support taking down the Corvette TAXES!!!!!

I have these on my car. Looks good sounds great, I also put on an x pipe. That helped with the drone somewhat. It sounds louder inside the car than it does on a driveby.

The tips look better than Borla. I have never liked my tips...they get too dirty, too quickly. And they don't mathc my chrome wheels. These look to be pretty good.

I think you certainly get what you pay for if you buy a used Ti exhaust here on the Forum - assuming that is the sound you like, of course.
Exhaust is so subjective, and it's great to have a group like this that share their experiences, and pass around good used parts for reasonable prices. You might watch the Sale section for awhile and find just what you want from a buddy on the Forum.

Ok, I finally got done with the install just a minute ago.

A few thoughts on this project. I have a good friend help you out on this!! If you get this exhaust, invest in some better T-bolt clamps. I had 2 of the 6 come with bad bolt threads on them. I had to get my buddy to drive me over to a GoodYear store for better ones.

Without the use of a lift, and w/o dropping the suspension we had to cut the stock axle pipes with a sawzall to get the stock ones off.

Most of the install was straight forward, a great amount of time was aligning the tips the best i could.

When it was all buttoned up first start up to check for leaks, I was like DAMN!!! This is what a vette should sound like stock!! Turns out my stock side H-pipes on one side the weld is cracked so i need to get a bead done on that.

Conclusion, for what i spent i'm pleased with my purchase. Just need better clamps. I'll try and get a video of it soon.
