do i have to have an alinment after shock and sway bar replacement.if so is a front alinment good enought or do i need the 4 wheel.
where do you take your vette for this kind of work.

Best way to find the right shop is ask local vetters in your area where they go. 2nd best option is to ask your preferred/trusted mechanic where u should go. 3rd option would be to visit local tire shops and try to get a "feel" for the personnel and make sure it's not a bunch of kids running the boat. That's a disaster waiting to happen typically due to inexperience or lack of concern for your expensive vehicle. Probably if u had to do it "blind", look for a mom/pop tire place perhaps and talk to the owner about your concerns to see if they are familiar w/ the corvette and how to lift it properly w/o damaging it.
If all else fails, then there is the stealership, preferably one of good reputation if possible. Hope that helps some. I know, because I have to go through this same procedure myself!

The shocks and sway bar do not change the alignment, but if you haven't had one in the last two years it couldn't hurt. If you chose to do an alignment, find a shop with experience with Corvettes. Also have all four wheels done.
