Default CAM and Head Package Help????

Looking to step it up a bit and need some help in determining the best cam and head application to put in my 01 Z06. The car is a street/track car so I need something that will be durable for road racing. I'm not so worried about making the big hrsp as I am getting torque and power through the whole powerband. It will have to stand up to high heat and high RPMS at long periods of times so any help would be greatly appreciated.

durable for road racing means coolers if you are going to hammer it.

LG Motorsports has alot of experience with road-racing, and H/C packages. Why don't you give them a call and use their knowledge.

simple answer - ecs custom cam with trick flow heads. we can send you all parts or stop by and we can install them.

if you are doing track days at the very least get the dewitts radiator with oil cooler. all the ecs cars are running that on the track. coolant and oil temps are way down now.

brake cooler and tranny cooler would be other good add ons.

if you want to know more about what is included in the package send me a pm.

bob

I like you and all... but I'm not sure I want to hook up. Now if Lisa's along... well then maybe

Get something with Trickflow heads... the ECS package makes a very honest 500+ rwhp w/o a disgustingly huge cam. Oh... and the oil cooler is sweet. I've got the Dewitts as you know Scotty so intalling it would be easy.

Or you could pay a shop to do it all.
