I have installed a TSP cam (Comp Cams) in my stock headed LS6/Z06.
I experimented with a couple of my stock pushrods instead of messing with my adjustable checker, and the valve tip pattern appears to be centered. I am able to tighten the rockers another 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn, from zero lash.
This sounds like it should be the correct length for my new pushrods... 7.400", correct?
Thanks.
The LS6 cam has a smaller base circle than the LS1 cam. I would suggest you go with longer 7.425" push rods to make up the difference. It will also help quiet up your valve train a bit.

My installer used Comp cams performance push rods 7.50 with the 2003 ZO6 cam and heads...using these same push rods with a Comp Cam install.
Should be 7.4s but many go w/ 7.425s for a little more preload... I use dthe 7.4s that came w/ my LGM kit and have no excessie valvetrain noise.... however I do have yella terra roller rockers.
