Hate to say it, but give it more gas and it goes away I loev them and they rock but yea they drone. IMO the drone is less with headers and even less with no cats, BUT, they put out so many DBs like that, maybe it just covers the drone Great mufflers man, love them and thye sound great IMO

After the Header install for my car I noticed there was less Drone/resonance. But the sound in dB was louder - when i thought about it, the difference was obvious. With the Long tubes the engine sound was more clear/crisp and i could hear it purring clearer, whereas w/o the headers it was a more muffled droning sound.

So Yeah, w/ headers you get less drone, but just as much overall sound - so if its the loudness thats bothering you, Headers won't help. But if its the mind numbing drone that bothers you, headers may help, because you'll hear a crisper clearer engine note instead of a baffled drone.

But i'd listen to it for myself if I were you. It's all subjective.

I find it interesting that you have 'drone' at 1500-2000... i have the LTs and B&B Bullets and don't really get ACTUAL drone or resonance until around 1850-2000 and it's not that bad.

As of right now, my wife won't ride in mine. It's too loud for her; we really can't have a conversion while driving, that's how loud it is. Exhaust: kooks lt's, kooks catted x, bullets and a decent sized cam(ha ha!).

I have 03 Z06 with LG headers, no cats, and Bullets. I have NO DRONE! You need to gut the interior and place pre-cut insulation (cowboy vendor) and place B-Quite insulation on top of that on trunk, rear wheel wells, trany hump, and front seat flooring. Plus a partition.
No Drone!

Bassani long tube headers,..Hy-flow cats X-Pipe with the B&B big twin bullets!! NO DRONE??? I have it on a "99" F.R.C. with one of the covered, padded trunk/cabin dividers I absolutely couldn't be happier! right in the middle of doing the Thomas wong head/cam thing right now and will finely be able to,.......PUSH that setup!!!
