Callaway Honker Vs. Vararam
Is there any major difference in the two intakes for around town driving? Do the MAF sensors need to be recalibrated and how if so. Thanks for the opinions.

There is no difference for around town driving. I have had both and the Honker is much better quality with a much better fitting filter. The Vararam was a nice system too, but the quality is lacking and fitment can be a pain. The filter in the Honker is also larger with more pleats.

I didn't initially do anything to re-map my MAF, and immediately noticed a difference...

except for the removal of the shroud, install has easy. let the engine re-map itself, as stated in the instructions, and everything was good to go. noticed the seat of the pants difference.
