Default Honker it is!

Thanks for all the input on the over used intake questions I posted. I am going with the Honker. Is a hood seal a good idea along with the bottom screen? Who has the best price and service on the Callaway Honker for a c5 00 vert?

Nice choice. The hood seal is good for as much as 15HP so ya can't go wrong with that. Well at the least it will help keep some dirt out of the engine bay. I put the screen on my car and it has limited how much stuff gets up against the radiator, good purchase I think. JMHO.

Bottom screen is an excellent idea. Keeps grass paper bugs dogs and cats out of your callaway filter which is otherwise open to all of that junk. The area where your callaway mounts is like a damned vacuum cleaner. It'll pick up everything!

Make sure you order the cleaner and oil when you buy, so you have it on hand when it's time to clean your filter. Think ahead.
