Default mti tuner

thinking of having my computer sent off to have tuned does anyone know how hard it is to take the factory computer out. any help would be appreciated

It is located under your battery. You have to take off your passnger side tire then you will be able to unscrew the inner wheel fender cut out. you will see your PCM when you remove this peice. There are 2 sets of connectors on the PCM that must be UNSCREWED. Before you do this diconnect the battery first. I just removed mine to send in for a tune also. If you do a search on "how to remove a pcm on a c5" there are instructions on this. Once I knew where everything was and got the right tools it took about half an hour to remove. Charlie, is advertising 100.00 for a tune on this site. I sent my pcm to him to tune.

Like Robert said, passenger side! When I first removed mine, it was a real PITA, it just did not want to come out, I had to spray it to loosen it
Yep! Charlie is very very good! He'll send me a file pretty soon too! great deal and a great tuner!
