Knock Sensor problems

OK... Long story short i changed the oil pressure sensor last night everything checked out fine after putting the intake manifold back on and what not. Went on a short drive oil pressure is great... now today i was driving it and went about 3 miles and the check engine light flips on. I run and get the code checked, and the code is for the knock sensors... both of them not just one. I'm almost positive i connected all back up before I put the manifold back on... any suggestions on what would cause this after i put the manifold back on? Could air leaking through the intake manifold cause this? I replaced all the gaskets and everything, but possibly something happened when reinstalling... I dunno..

This is on my 2003 C5

Sounds like the plug on the back isnt hooked up. Or at least fully clipped in.

Whats the best way to go about checking that? I cant fit my hand back there to feel for it really, and when my hand is in there i cant see to tell which plug it is anyway... any suggestions on how to get to that?

It's also possible that you pinched the knock sensor harness between the engine and manifold when you reinstalled the manifold.

ok if thats the case... when you are putting hte manifold back on where should that wire be going? Should i guide it to a certain area or what not

Straight back towards the firewall. You can throw some tape on it to hold it in place.

I just pulled the intake manifold back off and that is what happened. It was caught right next to one of the manifold gaskets. It got crimped down pretty bad... Do i need to replace the wiring on it or will it be ok as long as I run it straight back?
