Default What next??????

So i recently purchesed a black 97 6spd. I have already got the Borla exhaust and a Vararam intake. Any suggestions on another performence upgrade? I was wanting something not to crazy expensive, but something that I would be able to notice performence wise.

Well, until you do headers, not a lot will do you much good. An LS6 intake really needs headers... heads would show results, but need headers. A cam would show some good results though. The next logical step would be headers. Headers will enhance just about anything you put on it.

Plus, I don't think you have to pay for a tune if all you add are headers.

American Racing LT SS headers with a 3" mid section, high flow CATs and 3" CAT back exhaust is the best bang for the buck and a building block for future MODs. If you plan on BIG cubes, go 1 7/8" header primaries. YOU WILL NOT be sorry!

As most of us on the forum have learned...you're not going to see any significant changes in performance unless you spend lots of $$$. Bolt-ons make minimal changes...most of the HP increases they advertise are biased. So, the only way you're going to see significant improvement is by making changes to the engine..mainly heads/cam/injectors combo and adding the headers. You will need a tune. If you do the work yourself, you can do this for $2500-3000. If you have the work done for you...$5-6K.
