Default Question about Red calipers from Ecklers

I am thinking about buying the set of four red calipers from Ecklers. Have any of you bought them. Does that set come with the torque members in red also? Otherwise they would not match as they are a visible part of the caliper assembly.

Why not have them powdercoated. I believe it's corvettepiliot (Mike) who powdercoats them. If you do a search you'll find him. He does excellent work and has hundreds of satisfied forum mebers including myself as well as unbeatable customer service.

I have a 2002 Yellow C5. I wanted to change out the calipers to red. I looked into Ecklers, and GM after market. My final decision was to paint them my self. I am so pleased with the final result, they look incredible. I used paint that was designed specifically for calipers. “Dupli-color high performance caliper paint.”
Do not spray the caliper, use the brush method. After one coat, it looked terrible. After four coats, fabulous! (I was so happy I did my C6 also.)

Default paint em u self

Used duplicolor red. Looks like a Z06. Did during a brake pad replacement so I had the calipers loose but still connected to the lines, Masked off parts I didn't want to paint with masking tape and brushed the paint on. Let them dry 24 hrs and then touch up AFTER you install them if you make any nicks. Topped off with a white CORVETTE on the logo using a paint pen with white paint. Total cost less than $20 BIGHANK
