Default f45 sensor resisitor value?

I have replaced my f45 with bilsien sports and have done the resistor mod for the shock connection, but what size resistor is needed for disconnecting the connection to the RTD sensor? The connector for the RTD sensor has 3 wires. Does anyone know how to wire a fix for this untill I can get a scan tool? thanks

The real question is,,,,why dont you just ELIMINATE the entire F-45 option? It very easy to do. You can either go the dealer or find someone who has a TECH-II and program it out of the Body Control Module (BCM). It takes less than an hour and is a permenant solution, You can remove the module sensors and shock and NO CODES!

The 07 C6,ZO6 shocks fit right in and there onlt $230 for all four shocks!

3 wires??? I have a 99 and there were only two, I'm sure of this because I cut the wire/connector off the shocks and then soldered a 15 ohm 25W resistor to the TWO wire lead/connector from the shock then mounted the 15 ohm/25W heat sink encapsulated resistor to the frame rails for added heat dissipation. If you use a 15ohm/<1W Resistor or there abouts you will smoke the resistor if you move the RTD switch from (I think) comp mode. Bill is right, delete the option. After about 2 weeks I had the option disabled from the BCM with a Tech II, no worries now about resistors shorting out or some other stupid thing that would leave you in reduced power mode or worse. below is a post I started when I replaced the f-45 shocks, towords the end it's got a photo of my home made simulator mounted to the frame rail.
Good luck

I plan to eliminate it all together but I have to find someone that has a tech-II. Will any scan tool work or does it have to be one specifically for the vette. There is a shop here that has a generic scan tool that does almost all cars but I don't know if it will read the codes for the RTD.

At this current time, the only interface/programming changes to the BCM is via a GM Tech II. Somehow,,,lots of people have them. There only $4500.

It's one of those things that it's better to barter for someone who has aired one to help you out or pay the dealer the $40-$70 for them to do the one time fix!

No aftermarket programmer will interface with the BCM. I think EFI Live or HP Tuners was feeling out if there was any interest in producing something that would interface but I don't think they have produced anything yet.

My 98 was built in January 1998, is the BCM in these early models capable of having this option deleted via the GM Tech II ? I thought I read somewhere over the years that 97 and some early 98's could not have this option deleted.
