Excellent, so when do you mine, I can expect it finished in one weekend

Really outstanding work, I've been reading every post, thinking I might try this myself as well.

Yep, used it profusely during my H/C project - ordered 16 oz's and probably have 8 ounces left, but I lathered everything!

This afternoon, I took the pickup tube back down and checked out the O-ring, and it was still good. I then re-inserted it exactly the way I did before, so I am hopefully good. I got everything back together this afternoon, and realized I didn't have an oil filter wrench, so I didn't fire her up yet. I'll be picking up a wrench tomorrow and filling it back up with oil and firing it up. I'm confident that it's going to have 60psi on startup!

You had better not forget to post your tune results right away!! Im to old to do all this crap myself anymore! Im having Thomas Wong (in portland) (Im in seattle) do my head/cam this time (last time I did my own was 20 years ago.) The Cam we are using is the comp grind 228/232 on a 112 Ported LS6 heads and I have ALL the supporting mods and It took a while to get them. When Im done Ill post what I get but I want to see yours too.

Excellent job!! I wish I had the guts to do a head/cam job myself. That would save a lot of $$$$.

Show us some video once you have it off jacks and on the driveway or something.

You da man!!!! You gonna get it tuned on a dyno? I would like to see the numbers.

Default Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhaaaaaaaawwwwwww!! !!!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHAAAAAAAAWWWWWWW!! !!!

Fired her up today, and the oil pressure came right up to the upper 50's. Everything seemed kosher, so I took it for a spin around the block (ok, a little farther).

My impressions thus far:
It doesn't idle quite as well as I thought. After any trip up in rpm's, it has to hunt for an idle. The first time I backed it out of the driveway, it nearly died. It seemed to get a little better as I drove around, though. Oil pressure at 210 degrees was around 34-36 at idle. At 1,700 cruising, it was around 47. I think I'm set there. I got one error code for a mis-fire early on, but since then, no codes came up. I wish I could say I could feel gobs of extra power, but I can't. I just don't have the ***** to get on it much at all. I gave it about 1/8 throttle to 3k once or twice, but I just couldn't risk all that hard work for a joyride.

The exhaust sounds great! I really wanted to keep her a sleeper(ish), and the Z06 Titanium catback sounds incredibly tame at idle and under light loads. The couple of times I got on it a bit told me it's going to sound awesome under full throttle. It's the best of both worlds if you aren't out to get attention all the time. I'll get a new video up later for the guy who asked... Thanks for all the help guys. You have given me hope and courage to see this thing through! I have an appointment for a tune on 4/23. I'll be sure to post the graph.

Vettenuts, I'll be dumping my old oil filter soon, and I'll let you know if I find anything interesting...

Way to go, KILRB ! It's a great feeling to have it fire right up, after all that work, and not being absolutely positive you did everything right. Your idle hunting is quite normal. I didn't get on mine until the fourth cycle of heating to full operating temp, and then cooling off. But after that, I sure as hell could tell the difference, and that was before the FAST 90.

Ok then... Here you go. It's a cold start from this morning. I want to preface it by saying it's not nearly as loud in person as it sounds on the video. I am starting to realize that a lot of the idle clips you hear on the internet sound louder than they really are due to the camera angle and the mic sensitivity, I guess. It's actually pretty darned quiet at idle, but the video makes it sound all manley... If you listen, you can hear a bird chirping loudly, so it gives you an idea of how overstated the sound is.

I noticed more of a lope after it warmed up, and the idle dropped a bit. I believe it's idling around 600 when warm. This exhaust is going to sound absolutely sweet taching up and under load, though. I still haven't gotten on it much (and don't plan to until the tune), but the little bit I have given it sounds awesome, without being obnoxious!

Don't give me any crap if you notice the exhaust leak by the driver's side... I will get to it soon enough.

P.S. The valve train noise is amazing. There's not much more of a sewing machine sound than it was in stock form.
