Default EVAP Purge Vacuum Switch

Does anyone have a diagram or picture of the lines running to/from the EVAP Purge Vacuum Switch.

This is the one on the drivers side of the intake manifold near the rear .

I have a line coming from the EVAP Canister Purge Solenoid Valve into the EVAP Purge Vacuum Switch and then one going out and back behind the Throttle body (I think it eventually goes to the EVAP Canister).

But there are two open lines on the EVAP Purge Vacuum Switch that don't go to anything. Is this correct? If not, where do they go?

I would have to pull out my diagram (at work right now ), but the line from the front of the solenoid goes to the intake right behind the TB on the driver's side. The line on the rear of the solenoid is "S" shaped and connects to the hard line just behind the driver's side head, which in turn goes back to the cannister which sits above the passenger's side fuel tank.

Its Throttle Body ------ EVAP Canister Purge Solenoid Valve ------- EVAP Purge Vacuum Switch --------EVAP Cannister

My question is -- the Third one in line (EVAP Vacuum Switch) has two other smaller lines on it that don't appear to go anywhere, but one of them looks like it should.

The Service Manual DVD diagram doesn't show any thing else, but I was unsure. I was hoping someone could look on their car for me.

It sits right next to fuel injector connector for #5 (third one from the front, drivers side.

Wow thats wierd I was just looking at mine today and thinking the same thing. There's an L shaped small rubber hose and a small platic tube like thing coming off it and the hose that plugs into the hard line.I don't think anything goes to them though.............Paul

I guess you are right --- started it up without hooking them to anything -- runs fine. No codes on a 5 mile test drive.
