Why would you go through all the trouble of relocating the coils to the upper part of the valve cover, if your going to do it put the out of sight. And guys, your all mechanically inclined here ( most of us) , I just cant see spending over $150.00 let alone $400.00 for a couple brackets to mount the coils. Boy oh boy some of these venders just love you guys.
EXACTLY what I was thinking, so I went out and spent $10 yes just $10 on hardware from the depot and ordered universal LS1 MSD wires from Jegs for $110 shipped, I had a buddy get the connectors for free and made my own harness in 30 mins, maybe I should make some more of these and become a supporting vendor, here are the results:

Sorry to ask a stupid question but where did you end up putting the coils. what about extending the wires - maybe I missed it

Wires were bought from JEGS and cut to length, coils mounted behind battery and in the drivers wheel well. got the connectors from a buddy for free and extended the harnesses to the coil packs.

I asked because I have these 6061-T6 valve covers that i was going to put on my Vette but desided to leave the other ones on. These covers or really nice and have the coil mounts on them but do not require the ugly black bracket - the coils just bolt right to the coil. I would love to sell them - I paid $400

Will these coil relocates work for a c6 and or do you sell any for a c6 I would prefer the ones that take the coils right off the motor. Thanks

You can get the harness extensions from Kaspers and make some coil brackets using allthread rod, some spacers, a couple of nuts and make some L brackets. Mine are mounted to the right of the battery and inside the fender on the left side.

However, since they don't sell a universal kit, I thought I'd post the availability of mine here. If this is in any way offensive to Katech, moderators please remove.

I have two kits that work with any covers. Here's the pictures...

Coil Relocation Kit - Moves Coils off Valve Covers

Coil Relocation Kit - Moves Coils over the Valve Covers
I really like the top one and also the way you wrap all the wiring up like you did looks great... Robert
