c5 a/c compressor install
hi all ! i have a 1998 vette with a bad a/c compressor. it was making a knocking noise and then stop working. i was wondering if anyone could tell me how hard it would be to put in a new one? i have all the parts i think. please let me know!!

The install is pretty straight forward. You have to remove the water pump. Removing the front right wheel gives you good access to things too. Odds are when it cratered, it dumped it's guts into your system. I would replace the accumulator and orifice tube and all the O-rings while I had it apart for the flush. Then evacuate and fill will the correct amount of pag oil and refrigerant.
