Electrical issues
1. I just put in a new acdelco battery after the last one (only one year old) fell dead and determining it had a bad cell.
2. I couldn’t get to the car for two weeks so no one cranked it.
3. I go to start it and she barely cranks.
4. I go to Auto Zone and get a tester put on it and the new battery only has 220 cranking amps. The battery reads good but it is weak. We then test the alternator, it only putting out 30 Amps.
I’m thinking I have a short somewhere and a bad alt. Any advise or opinions on what to do next?

Wish I could help more, but if u replace your alternator make sure u follow Evil Twin's recommendation on the exact type of alt to avoid the dreaded "charge system fault" that I have had for a year now after replacing mine w/ a GM alternator:
