New slave (GM 89059282) I would replace the master too

Tool to remove pilot Try to get a tool like I used for removal, less then 15 minutes R&R
Tool to decouple hydraulice hose If you are replacing the slave, I found it easier to cut the line before the coupler then remove it, easier to get to.
Tranny jacks, etc. Harbor Freight tranny jack worked great, also their orange jack for 39.99 worked great too. New rear caliper bolts (per service manual)
Thread locker
Alignment tool (usually comes with the clutch kits) Sometimes not, but they are 2.99 at Advance.
A scissors jack or bottle jack, something to jack up the engine
lots of baggies, index cards and markers. Label everything.
Take pictures, very helpful
Tape measure, you got to be at least 17 inches cleared, remember the car will set down a little so I went 19 inches then set the stands and it came out to a little over 17. I dedicated an evening to do this, dont be in a hurry.
Go to NAPA and get some longer bolts the same size as the torque tube bolts, this will help pull it in when you are really close.
Lithium grease for the shaft
If you look at my pics you will see i labeled the bolts on the pressure plate so as not get confused on the torquing pattern on the reinstall.
I already had a VERY large screw driver and it worked well to turn or hold the flywheel. I bought the flywheel locking tool from NAPA but returned it as I didnt need it.
A good friend
Post back any questions.
