Default Are catbacks easy to install?

I'm going to attempt to install some BB bullets on my C5, however I'm unsure how easy this job is. Are there any writeup's on how to do this? If not, can someone give me the rundown? To-do's and not to do's?

Thanks!

Its cake, just taking off the stock mufflers can be a pain in the driveway, you have to get the *** end up really high.

But its pretty straightforward, unbolt the mufflers from the h pipe, unbolt the swaybar from the subframe and let it hang you dont need to take it off. Pull the mufflers down and work them over the diff and out. Then reverse the process.

I just did this last weekend.
You have to get the rear up as high as you can. I had the front end on the tires and the rear up as high as my jack stands would go. And that just barely gave me enough room.

The Bullets come in 2 pieces each side so you can get the pipe over the axle easier. They sound awesome - LOUD!!!!!

Think it's recommended 42" off the ground...took mine to the local muffler shop and they did it for $50.00. I felt safer that way...that's just me.

I just jacked the rear end of the car enough to get under it and cut the stock exhaust pipes in two with a recip saw. Then you can unbolt and take off the stock cat back and bolt up the new. Simple job.

Put the front end on ramps,
jack the rear end up until the bottom of the fascia is at least 28 1/2 " off the ground....
be careful it is a high lift and make sure you don't roll off the raamps.

Loosen and swing down the rear swaybar, remove the gas tank shield on the passenger side.
Twist and drop the stock system out in one piece....

We did 2 systems in one 3 hour evening....taking our time and being safe...

We did have to make an extension jacking pad for the floor jack by sandwiching a 4x4 between 2 2x12's
