Default Need help with Corbeau A4 install

I tried to install tonight but the seat will not fit due to the seat adjustment mechanism pressing up against the seatbelt retractor mechanism on the floor next to the door rail. The mounting bracket/ rails say 97-04 Corvette and the holes line up fine but as I said there is clearance issues. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You have to put the passenger seat on the drivers side and the drivers seat on the passenger side. So the leaver to recline the seat is on the inside next to the consol.....Hope this helps

I've also been told that if you look on the base of the seat frame, it has 2 sets of mounting holes. If you remove the seat from the frame and swap mounting locations, it will allow you to install the seats in the side they are supposed to be mounted in. Its also my understanding that you need to file down the seatbelt latch bolt. If you dont, it wont fit next to the tunnel.

I have NOT done this personally, but I have read about it here more than a couple of times.

The seat belt bolts push on the center console but not really bad. It fits I just have to switch the seats around. Thanks for the info.

Default Corbeau A4's

Here's what I did (okay, I had a friend mill it for me)

and hey look...they mount on the correct side. None of this mounting them with the recliner on the wrong side. Corbeau should be ashamed of themselves calling these brackets "C5 specific". What a joke.

I agree 100%. The fit for C5 specific brackets is horrible. I had to mount mine on the wrong sides as well. Theu look hella cool though.

How do these seats feel compared to the factory standard seats? I was thinking of buying a set. Also where is the best place to get the slides? Any weight savings?

Cool seats, it would be nice to have them with factory electric functions like memory
