Default T-56 Question
What kind of fluid are most of you T-56 guys running? I am giong to chang mine today or tomorrow and wanted some suggestions.

I really like the B&M synthetic trick shift. Amsoil is also good stuff. and im sure royal purple makes some atf.

Just finished up and went with mobil1. I can't tell any difference what so ever!!!

Mobil 1 with Problend ATF additive. It is a cooling additive, like "water wetter", but for ATF

Been running AMSOIL ATF in mine since 2004 with no failures in three seasons of racing.

I changed to Mobil 1 at about 49,000, then have sixth gear grinding problems after 51,000 miles. I then tried Amsoil ATD, although Amsoil ATF will work also. I have over 103,000 miles on original transmission and clutch.

Appearently these transmissions are sensitive to dirty fluid. I don't understand why GM says you never have to change fluid ?
