I used the SpeedBleeders, but this product is actually MUCH more useful:

I use speed bleeders for bleeding, and the Motvie power bleeder when flushing.

I need to pick up a set of these too. Would everyone recommend the stainless? More than twice the price of mild steel, but that only means $8 x 4, so does it make sense?

I bought my stainless steel ones directly from Speedbleeders at the above noted web address...

Isn't repeated bleeding the same as flushing if you put enough fluid through? And if so then why spend the money for a power bleeder if speed bleeders do the same thing for less.

I purchased a set of Goodridge speed bleeders from Lingenfelter (LPE) for $16.00: http://www.lingenfelter.com/store/spdbld.html and I have used them several times with great results (read, no leaks).

the only difference is you have to pump the pedal to move the fluid with speed bleeders but what i do with them is to flush the brake lines...
I keep the brake fluid reservoir open and keep pumping until what come sout at the caliper is clear and then give about another 10 pumps.

If you are going to use the stainless ones from Speedbleders ( which I use ) I would recommend using a good anti seize.

I just picked up a set from my local auto store. Are these any different from the online speedbleeder.com ones?

I just stripped the head of one of my bleeders and broke my wrench. I was trying to keep the OEM bleeders, got only the rear right done and was working on the front right when this happened. Guess now is a good time to purchase a set of speedbleeders.

Any thoughts on how I can get the bleeder off now? I assume I could use a locking vice grip plier.

Shylor, if you have enough of the bleeder left try a flare wrench for removing the bleeder. These types of wrenches are used on tubing connectors and carb connection. They get a better bite on the flange sholders of the part. I used them to remove the bleeders on all my 75 calibers worked great. Mine were standard though and C5's may be metric. Thanks

I just finished installing the Speedbleeders and glad I also ordered the bleeder hose. Other than the Speedbleeders being a tad longer than the OEM bleeders, they sure made the whole process very easy. The Speedbleeder hose was much easier to use than the old plastic hose I had been using.

The only thing I didn't understand was that the Speedbleeders needed an 11mm wrench while the OEM bleeder took a 10mm. Not that big of a deal, just wondering why they went up a size.
