That's not a stocker...It's bigger and no emblem on it...... No mounting tabs on the side either.
Red,
To be fair, if you go to Shutterfly you'll see that when first installed the stock air bridge was used . What Mike didn't know was that the LS7 throttle body sits farther back and we had to improvise until I figured out what would fit neatly and function well. This is the 3rd configuration and it fits really well. It's a Granatelli airbridge an LPE 100mm MAF and 4" and 3 3/4" couplers.

PS: It's now running a 3:42 and SS3600. It a perfect street combo for me. I guess I'll have to wait until spring to get track times.
I finally got to run:
Last night, I went to Mooresville's 1/8th mile track. It's been raining every weekend scheduled for test n'tune and it looked like rain again. We had a 2 hour delay because of ominous black clouds that finally blew over and I had another commitment so could only get in 3 runs. On the first, the tires spun and the timer did not print slips. I lowered tire pressure from 20 to 18 and spun some on the 2nd run. I dropped it to 16 and hooked really well. I'm used to my 87 mph old engine runs, so this car for me is scary fast.
60'-1.64
ET-7.25
MPH-97.75
It was a hot night and timing was pulled from 21* to 16*, AFR was 13:1.
1st shifted at 6000 and 2nd at 6600.
I think, looking at the MPH there is a 6 second run in it if I play with the above.
Roger,
ScogginsDickey converted a crate engine. They installed the reluctor at the crank and did the whole wet sump conversion.
It came to Williams Performance all buttoned up. They had to do the wiring adapters along with the install.
If I take off the FRC's not too many know it's a 427. I leave them on, so I can brag. Most guys around here are big block types.
It's a pleasure to drive and am pretty sure I can break into 6's.
Joe
That's a nice setup you got. I had my LS7 installed in my 97 A4 Oct 2006. I have the Dry Sump. I have 3.15 gears and a 3600 Yank converter. The best run to date is 10.77 @ 125mph. The 1/8 mile time was 6.84 @ 99.75. You got a lot left, just get them 60 fts down some.
Good Luck.

Tom,
Thanks for the information, it gives me incentive to look for more.
After looking over the run logs, I find that there's more to work on: Timing, shift points, AFR.
You have a fast car. Stock? What kind of power are you making? What's your 60"?
Joe
I don't know what HP I'm at, I've never had it on the Dyno. I tune it at the track. The 60 ft on that run was 1.49. I'm not an expert tuner, but their may be a little more in it. Keep up the good work.
Yes it is Stock, except for the 2 inch Headers.
very nice setup. I love my LS7 setup in my 01 coupe. Everyone that looks at mine engine knows something is up because the oil tank is where the battery use to be. I just say I added the tank for road racing. They believe that until I pass them like they were standing still
congrats and its nice to see that there are alternatives for our cars when the mileage starts to go up..

This photo is the best I could do. My scanner died.
I went to Mooresville's 1/8th track saturday, hoping for a 6.99999999.
Man was I surprised and happy. I got in 3 runs. The clock malfunctioned on the 2nd run. Both recorded times are under 7 sec.
The 3rd was best.

It was supposed to be cool weather but it got up to 75* so I quit. I think there are 6.7's in it with more tuning and cooler temps.
