When I shut my doors on my 2000 vert I have to push the windows in to get them inside of the canvas at the corner where the top and window meet. Will this same procedure work to remedy the problem?
I had the same problem and the canvas material was starting to wear off and you could see the plastic piece starting to show is inside. Your going to probably need to take it to the dealer or a highly qualified top installer to have it readjusted.
I just needed the rear part of my door adjusted. Maybe i read those directions earlier wrong, or something.
Doing the window down and loosening and tightening the lower front adjustment point will make sure that the front window track stays in alignment with the glass. If you adjust just the rear and leave the front as is the glass can bind in the tracks causing both front and rear track wear, window regulator wear and slow/noisy glass travel.
I'd loosen the front with the window down just to be sure you don't get any binding.
A buddy of mine was complaining about the wind noise last weekend during a road trip. I told him to quit complaining cause I was making a 5 HR trip in 3 1/2 hrs....
I don't think I will get away with telling my GF the same thing before an even longer trip this weekend - it's getting fixed when I get home...

That is exactly what's happening with mine. I've gotten used to it but that doesn't make it any less annoying. Any idea what causes it?
