So at 173mph...

You can tighten the clip that holds the window in (i.e. bend it in further such that it puts more pressure on the window. That frequently helps. For us coupe owners often the w-stripping gets torn in back, but you shouldn't have that problem.
Hope this helps.

That would be the exact solution... now where are the directions? lol

Here you are:
1. Position window fully up
2. Remove large access plug from under the front door
3. Loosen the window regulator front channel mounting nut
4. Remove the reflector from the trim panel
5. Loosen the jack screw jam nut
6. Adjust tip in with the jack screw
Did i really get that in my email before it was posted?!

Good luck...
Process:

4. Remove the reflector from the trim panel.
5. Loosen the jack screw jam nut.
6. Adjust tip in with the jack screw.
> Turn the jackscrew clockwise to tip the window outward.

> One turn equals approximately .04in change at the top or the window
> Tighten the jack screw jam nut.
> Lower the window.

10. Raise the window and check the alignment.
11. Install the access plug under the front of the door.

I can only imagine what my Vert would sound like at that speed!!!
It is bad enough at 120!

<---has replaced 3 (both sides in my car and 1 in a friend's car) power window motors

SLIGHTLY tap it with something (hammer, back of screwdriver) of course protect the clip from damage first. The blowout clip is the little black thing at the top of your window.
It holds the window in place at speed. As for noise at 173, I don't know never gone that fast before.
That said I have gone 172
and it's loud.

Just to make it clear... i have not done 173mph, i was just trying to get your attention

Did the adjustment tonight, i'll know in the morning if it worked.

- Undo the reflector
- Undo the 10mm nut
- Turn the 4mm hex clockwise (top of window out) or counterlockwise (top of window in) according to which way you need to go
- Put the nut back on and tighten it down
- Put the reflector back on.

There is a rubber plug under the door, towards the front that handles the front side of your window.
