I know on previous cars with struts or when i changed springs that i needed to get an alignment...but with the C5 and it being shock only, no change in height or spring would i need to get one?
No alignment needed when changing shocks or when changing sway bars - simply drive it around the block once or two times to get the suspension to settle and you are good to go
Some people have seen ride height differences when going to a different shock/sway bar setup. It doesn't make sense to me since they just dampen the suspension, not actually control ride height - but it happens...
If you have never had the car aligned drive it for a couple weeks to let everything settle and then get it aligned...
My shocks and sways were changed two weeks ago by the help of a Forum member. I had the alignment done 5 months prior and I haven't felt any noticeable difference
