Ling Tube Headers
I'm about to buy long tune headers. Looking at Am Racing, Kooks and LG. Any recommendations on which brand is best?

I went with AR's myself, but those are not bad names.

K@@Ks are the best made and have equal length tubes and will out-perform others !
you can get any make and it'll be better than what is on there now! it just depends on what future mods you might want to do!
Thanks,Matt

Pulled the KOOKS and put on the LG's. Much easier to install and more power.

I called Andy at A&A this morning and asked the same question since he has experience with all 3 both from install perspective and power output. He said they were all very close. LG's have a little more low end with Kooks and ARH having more high end....average horsepower throughout is pretty much the same according to him...ARH are the easiest to install.

I dont know what the easiest to install is but I can tell you that the Kooks are PIA
but I do like the fact that they bolt together rather than using clamps.

I bought Dynatech Supermaxx headers. All the big name headers are good. Kooks and AR seem to be the most popular at this time.

I never follow the crowd so I opted for a lesser known brand, Melrose International.
Can not argue with 12.20@115 with only LT's and DR's on a 99FRC.
Good luck, the header war will never be settled.

That's some seriously talented shifting to achieve that time with just lt's ... What rear gears are you running?

I have them on my car and they were very easy to install. Sounds great too.
