I want to make sure I am on the right track.. Several times over the last several months when I turned down the temp on the A/C control (to make it colder) the temp went UP to a higher temp. After turning the control **** several times it would go down. Now it has become a big problem... turn it down and it shot up to max - 90 degrees... even in winter that is an issue and especially a problem now in Texas...!
The passenger side works great and when you can get the driver side control **** to go lower in the temp range, everything works great.
My question is "I think the control head is shot." Am I correct or could there be another reason for this behavior? I much rather spend a couple hours and $300 replacing it then $600 at the dealership.
