I just changed out my spark plugs and wires. After I finished, my little key remote thing no longer works, so I have to manually lock my doors. There is power to everything except the key remote. My windows still have power and the car starts and drives. I know its not the battery cause I just open the car with the remote prior to doing the spark plugs. Is there a fuse or somthing inside the car that controls this? Please help. Thanks.
First hold down the lock and unlock buttons at the same time and wait for a horn chirp. If you get it, you just resynced the fob and should be fine. If not, reprogram the fob through the DIC to match the car. If neither of these things work, try a different fob or change the battery in the one you have and rematch through the DIC. If you have more than one fob, program them both (match) at the same time or the second one will no longer work.
