Default Question for those with a 90mm setup

Alrighty I decided to go 90mm with the normal list of parts: 85mm MAF, Fast 90, LS2 TB. My question is what to use as an airbridge? I've tried to find out what the outlet diameter is on these "power couplers/ducts" the vendors sell to no avail. Looking at 7LitreC5's pics (gorgeous setup btw) it looks like he's got an '01 bridge with what could be '05+ bellows. Just curious what you all ended up with. I want to make sure I don't spend all this money and put a restriction in this setup somewhere.

Hey,

I am in the process of doing the same thing right now. I ended up just getting one of the plastic high flow airbridges from West Coast Corvettes. I've spoke with a few people and they have said that you CAN fit the coupler that comes with the aftermarket airbridges onto a 90mm throttle body. I will be getting it installed on Thursday so I can let you know if you would like. Just my .02.

Great. If you get a chance can you let me know what the outlet diameter is? That's the real question. If it's 85mm or better than it shouldn't be an overall restriction.

I bought a used plastic POS Halltech airbridge w/ red coupler, about 4 years ago. It fit the LS2 90 TB with plenty of slack. Looks a little ghetto with hose clamps, but it ain't a show car.

OD of the LS2 TB is the same as the one you have, your current setup should fit. The Nick Williams is slightly larger and the FAST TB is larger still.

Really? Interesting. I guess I should have measured the actual outside diameter of the 78mm. I should have occured to me it would be bigger with the amount of material surrounding the throttle blade. Big thanks Vettenuts!

So has anyone gotten a gain with a "power duct" or should I get an '01 bridge and call it good.

When I was looking into this, SDPC pulled a new one off the shelf and measured it. I measured my stock unit, numbers were the same so it should fit. If you already have the LS2, give it a quick try and confirm.
