AC problems
when i turn the ac on cold air blows out of the defroster vent. It also blows out the vents but barley. Has any1 else had this problem. No matter what mode i switch it to it still blows out the defroster i have the dual climate control ac setup. Thanks

a/c issue
Have to tell you that I had an issue with hot air coming into the driver side and cold air into the passenger. It was due to a stuck vent actuator. A forum thread said to disconnect the battery for one hour, hook it up and see if the a/c reset. IT Worked like a champ, saving me bookoo money. Never know, maybe this will work for your problem as well. Worth a try, don't you think?

The HVAC damper doors (vents) are vacuum controlled. If they loose vacuum, they usually fail in the defrost position. Your going to need to figure out where you have a vacuum leak. The vacuum source starts out in te back of the manifold and uses nylon lines to port the vacuum down to the passengers wheel well resivour. If you have or have ever had an acid spill from a leakey battery, it will destroy the nylon vacuum lines in a skinney minute.
So,,,, you need to start here and figure out why you dont have vacuum:
