Default how do you adjust your headlights?

I put in the HIR bulbs this weekend......I think my lowbeams throw light a little to the right and the high beams throw the light a little high. How do I adjust this?

Thanks in advance.

on the inside part of your headlights you will see a little circle cover with a slot in it. take a screwdriver and just turn it once (left) and it will pop out and down there you will find your adjuster. i know its a inverted torx socket not sure what size it is off hand but i know i lost one of them when i went to go take the socket off the head of the screw. i did the same on mine and i had to adjust mine up a little now i get people flipn there high beams at me....

Default adjustment

Take off the plastic shroud (3 self tapping screws). There are 2 adjusters on each headlight. 1 up and down one left and right. BE CAREFUL TURNING THE ADJUSTERS. Might want to spray some lube on there first so you don't break them off. BIGHANK

It takes a T-15 torx driver BUT you could use a 1/4 inch socket over it and it makes turning it much easier and you won't strip it out.

Thank you!!!!! Is there a guide as to how to adjust them? Should I just point them at my garage door and do it by "eye"?

I've seen a technical guide write up somewhere but it read like someone from NASA wrote it so I didn't pay much attention to it. I just use the garage door about 8 feet away and then take it down the road for a test and make further ajustments same way.

I recently installed HID low-beams, and found them to point too low. When I adjusted the low beams to where they should be (IMHO), the high beams are way too high. It seems like my HID bulbs aren't quite compatible with the headlight frames. But you really don't even need high beams anymore, so I'll just save them in case I want to go racoon hunting.
