heating problem
my cars starting to run hot! i turn on the air and the temp goes down. does the BCM control the fans and the transmission? i had to change the PCM i wondered if there was a connection.....

If the thermostat was stuck, turning on the air wouldn't make it cool down. Turning on the air turns on your fans, so it's possible that the fans aren't being turned on at the proper temps. Do whatever Bill Curlee says.

The AC turns on the fans therefore it will run cooler. But if its heating up fast when you come to a stop with the AC off, I will venture a guess that your AC condensor in front of the radiator is plugged up with road debris. Thats means you probably have a ton of small rocks in there. Use a long air line with a bend in it and reverse blow out the rocks. You can get one of these from Harbor Freight for like $5, then connect to a air compressor.

Here is an option , redirect the air flow right on to the radiator face.
