I had to put in brand new O2 sensors when I did my headers. The old ones were too "lazy" and threw codes for slow switching times or something. After getting brand new rear O2s and installing them in the front spot with adapters, I have never had a code since (7 months).
Dude, Ive been an ASE master tech since 1990. Ive had 2 C5's. My 01 has headers on it that I put on. Please read the post above and notice I said with adapters.
well we are not talking about your car we are talking about his without the adapters and mine without the adapters, you switch them the car will not work properly, trust me i have done it. and no i did not plug them into the fronts, mainly because they are not the right shape, square vs flat, when the car does not have cats or has high flow cats, it will make a difference.
