Default Powerloader Question

Does the powerloader "bond" itself to one car only? Would I be able to use it then sell it to a friend?
Thanks,

The Powerloader is VIN # & mod specific.

I believe it is tied to your VIN and is not "transferrable." :(

The Powerloader is programmed specifically for ONE VIN/Car and is not transferable over to another car.

I know it might seem a bit harsh but it only makes sense to do it this way. It is a piece of software just like you would buy for your computer. Say you buy one copy of Microsoft Office 2000, does that mean you can legally install it on as many computers as you want? :)

If you need any more info about the Powerloader or would like to place an order for one, feel free to shoot me an email.

hahaha

If one would work on all cars, we could just pass it around.

And that would mean Steve Cole would have to find a new line of work, and then support would dry up, and... no more powerloaders! Support your local software vendor! :smash:

Matt

How much will a power loader provide and how much horse power can I expect to gain from using one on a basicly stock 98 (6) speed??? The only mods I have are K/N filter in a modified stock housing and 187 deg thermostat and a MASS with the screens removed.
If I change my set up by installing stuff later do they offer a up grade on the POWER LOADER program?

Thanks
BILL C :D

If I'm not mistaken, you could sell it to a friend if you were trading your car in and uninstalled the software back to the stock program.

If you traded in your car and don't remove the program, should you leave the Powerloader with the car?
