This May help a lot of people with Battery broblems !?!?!
i just installed a new excide battery & all was ok til 1 morning it wouldnt start. cables were tight !??????? AT Least the screw was tight- BUT IT wasnt making contact real good w/ the battery, especially the positive terminal....... REASON is i used the battery terminal screws that were on the cables & they DID-NOT HAVE THREADS ALL THE WAY to the END, as a EASY FIX i bought 2 new screws for the terminals that were shorter & threads ALL the way on the shaft ---so when You tighten the cables -- not only are the screws tight BUT it pulls the terminal Next to the Battery for Positive contact ALL the time -- (cost less than $2.) Hope this helps a lot of You with battery problems, which is possibly why the battery sometimes doesnt charge !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
