How Difficult ( Dash Pad Replacment)
On a 2001..............??
Will be a warranty replacement, but, I don't know if the cure will be worse than the disease........(maybe RATTLES).......
Anyone know???

I had my dashpad replaced also under warranty. I think the pad was $750 before installation. Mine replaced due to paint peeling on the tip near console near passenger seat bolster.
They, the dealership scratdch the steering wheel and the passenger seat cushion center cushion during the install.
The pad is clumsy to handle and has sharp edges, easily cutting leather areas.
I highly suggest buying cheap steering wheel cover K-mart 6 bucks and seat covers(keep box and return next day). The mental trauma was terrible. They wound up repairing the steering wheel and replacing first the passenger seat cushion cover and then the drivers to get them to match.

The pad has voids )Underneathe the vinyl cover), straight from the factory........the pads are injection molded, and some empty spots failed to get filled.......
And on a 50k auto, ( 2 mos old), I want it like it oughta' be.......... :rolleyes:
