Does ATF expire?

Do unopened bottles of automatic transmission fluid lose any properties over several years of sitting around in a garage? I'm not talking about using 30 year old fluid, just stuff that's within roughly 5 years of having been shipped. Is it safe?

Not that I know of. As long as the bottles are tightly capped, dust and oxidation shouldn't occur.

That atf will be fine as long as its been sealed for all this time.
