With the mods in my sig, Should I do the Fast LSx Intake manifold or headers and a Cat delete first?

Man... how much power do those polished valve springs give you

So you have a cam w/ stock manifolds... dude get headers first, then a re-tune.

The FAST will only give you more power w/ a large cam or larger motor, otherwise stick w/ an LS6 manifold.

My car might get 10 rwhp w/ a FAST 90/90... not worth the $1200.

Ya, probably headers. Maybe look at getting CNC'ed heads at some point as well, after I bought mine I found a local shop that could have CNC'ed my old ones. Anyway, the bump in power for **Me** (could be different for others) with the CNC'ed heads was more than the bump from headers, but was done after the headers.

Also, high flow cats are pretty good. I don't think I'll buy much with putting in the off-road pipes, so I just leave in the cats. We have smog test where I live, visual inspection included. So got to have them.

on the Forum here they have an LS6 Manifold for 600 bucks, is that a good price or could I do better?

And the valve springs net me about 100 RWHP i'd say

Oh and I do plan on a much bigger Cam latter after the headers intake, I will do the cam then get a tune. My goal is about 420 to the rear wheels.

$600 for an LS6 manifold seems a bit high from what I remember.

I am very strongly considering just putting in a crate LS2 or LS6 and an RPM tranny I just need the ten K which I can get out of my stratus when I sale it. While I'm at it I think I will replace all the radiator mounts, re mount my horn and replace the brake cooling duct and the rest of those crap a$$ rubber/plastic pieces under there.

Headers first and a Dyno Tune to go with it!

Then the rest of your parts will wake up!

Thanks,Matt

Save time and $$$. For a few extra $$$ go with the LS2,3 crate transplant.
