EBCM code 1214

EBCM code 1214
Okay,so the lights go af like a christmas tree and every time I try to reset this code it keeps coming back.Just 1 second after using the reset button the code(1214) pops-up and will not go away.Now, I contacted Brandon allready but I just want to be sure before sending the EBCM over to him(living in Europe myself)that the thing is really broke.....Grounds have been cleaned without any result.Suggestions anyone??

If you have checked the grounds, removed the connectors, inspected and cleaned the connectors and connector wells and still have the 1214 DTC. The EBTCM is a big pile of not right!
When you get it back form Brandon, it will be BETTER than NEW!
You do know that it is still possible to drive the car if you have to in an emergency with the module removed. Seal up the EBTCM well, and cover the connectors with plastic.
NOTE!!!*** Just remember,,,,,you will N O T have any Anti Lock, Active Handling or ABS Braking abilities.

Tanks Bill,the EBCM is on its way to Brandon.A brand new EBCM costs around 1200 euro's(converted to $$ that's 1620$.)so it's worth the risk for sending it of to the U.S. of A.I just hope that the box with "that thingie" will arrive.When it gets lost somewhere along the way,we're in big trouble.
