Riding down the road today i look down, and see a message about checking my tire sensor or something like that, i check the tire pressure on my dic. and the front left says 32 the right says Rxxxx0 or something like that, is that probally a sensor gone bad?
thanks
As far as i know 77000 on them . Looks like after reading it probally is a bad sensor or it could just be a gitch like you say, 2 weeks ago my wipers went all crazy for no reason and they havent acted strange since that 1 time,
Thanks
If it doesn't straighten itself out try this........a year or so ago I had one acting goofy and this is what I did, no problem since.
Fill the offending tire up to around 40 lbs or so then drive a few miles on it..........go home and let the air out to normal pressure ( I use 29 cold and tires wear perfectly). After I did that mine has functioned normally and I have no idea why
You probably need to replace the sensor. They dont last forever. I have one that is doing that but havent had the time to go get it replaced. I just keep an eye on that tire more.
Thanks guys , i just drove the car and its fine now. Hmmmmm ill try the 40lbs of air thing, if all else fails then at some time ill replace the sensors, since i dont run runflats its no big deal , just a mental thing just knowing something isnt working perfect on my perfect car
thanks for the help

I agree that it sounds like a sensor battery going bad. I have all the original sensors in my white/torch red 2000 coupe, and they are still working fine, but then it only has 19,500 miles on it. I have an extra set of used sensors, so I'm going to try the battery install myself, and see how it goes when the time does come to change them.
